Tony is a cross-media storyteller. Drawing on 25 plus years as a designer and filmmaker he specializes in communication strategy for brand development and expression. Using storytelling as the central mechanism to generate and communicate meaning, his work is created to be deployed across the constantly evolving and interwoven landscape of today's media platforms. Prior to co-founding Gigantic Planet Tony was a promotion manager for CBS Records, a freelance designer, and a producer in feature film and television. Tony holds a BA in Marketing & Design from the University of Washington. A passionate photographer and traveler, Tony is always looking for opportunities to more deeply connect with places, people and cultures around the world.
Meg McHutchison
principal & creative producer
As a highly-skilled creative producer, Meg has a prodigious breadth of capacity, tremendous commitment, deep experience, and the ability to bridge mediums. She is a writer, interviewer, and editor who applies an interdisciplinary art practice to all aspects of her work harmonizing video and multimedia with live program development and direction. She has made substantive contributions to many vital, high profile projects over the last two decades in the Pacific Northwest. Meg completed her MFA in 2006, and in 2007 traveled the state of Oregon while working on the Campaign for OSU, and knew then that she was home. She relocated to Portland in 2008, where she happily tends the roses for the first time in her life.
Beth Farnham
operations and production manager
Beth knows the arts & culture world. From her studies in Theater Production & Design at Shoreline Community College and Arts Management at the University of Washington to her over 15 years experience working in production and event management, fundraising, theater review, programming, marketing and promotion. She is even an award-winning literary managing editor.Here are a few of the organizations she has been privileged to work with: IFP/Seattle, Artist Trust, UMO Ensemble, Film Arts Foundation in San Francisco, and the San Francisco Arts Festival. She handles the organizational operations and production management for Gigantic Planet.
Laura Macmaster Dean

Laura is an artist living in Seattle. Before migrating to the Northwest, Laura received her BFA in Film & Video in 2003 from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, and is currently pursuing a MA in Communication from the European Graduate School. Laura is passionate about exploring the evolving worlds of technology, spirituality and creativity and she brings all those perspectives to her work with Gigantic Planet. She has helped to craft our work for Cornish College of the Arts, Harborview Medical Center, Oregon State University, Seattle Fashion Week, and the University of Washington.
Nick Beeson
3D and motion graphic design
Ever since he became coordinated enough to hold a pencil, NIck loved to draw and create. At the Art Institute of Seattle he explored artistic mediums and processes ranging from stop-motion animation, to video game design, to classic oil on canvas, and graduated with a BA in Media ARts and Animation. Today, while his focus is 3D and animation design, his true passion is finding new ways to integrate artistic mediums to tell a story in a visually stunning way. Nick's 3D and motion graphic design deepens Gigantic Planet's storytelling abilities.
